The recent release of Platform version 7.1.1, addresses an issue discovered during the upgrade process for Platform version 7.0.0 to 7.1.0 or Platform version 7.0.0 to 7.1.1. The upgrade paths mentioned will complete successfully and the Platform continues operating as expected.
The issue is that one of the old versions of an upgraded component remains on the Platform after the upgrade. The Platform attempts to deploy the old version of the component and correctly fails the deployment. The failed deployment is written to the logs, generating a large amount of logs until the issue is resolved.
If you want to upgrade using one of the mentioned paths, its recommended that you discuss the process with your client services representative before running the upgrade. There may be a desirable manual step after the upgrade to minimize noise in the logs.
The issue is resolved in Platform version 7.1.1 and later.
