Tenant and Subscription Information

At times it may be necessary to view and manage information related to specific Tenants or subscriptions.  The Additional Controls section of the Developer Portal enables you to perform functions such as viewing individual subscriptions, adjusting Feature-related meters, and managing individual subscriptions on behalf of your Tenants. Please note that this section applies only to applications with Authorization or Multi-tenancy.

You can retrieve Tenant-specific information from your End Users page, which is accessible from the End Users link in the top menu bar of the Additional Controls section. This page will provide you with a list of your Tenants (End User Organizations) as well as relevant contact and location information:

The Search Organizations function on this page allows you to search your Tenant (End User Organization) list for specific information.  If you wish, you can limit this search to information relating to a specific application.

For applications with Multi-tenancy, the Tenants shown are simply those that have subscriptions to your applications.  Because applications with Authorization are not Multi-tenant and their subscriptions can be assigned to Platform Users from any Tenant, for these applications you will instead see a virtual Tenant created specifically for that application.  The name listed for this virtual Tenant will simply be “Tenant for {application}” (where {application}=the name of the application), and the Administrator information will be that of the Account Administrator of the Developer account that created the application.  The remainder of the controls described below, however, will work the same for an Authorization app as well as for applications with Multi-tenancy.

To view more detailed subscription information for a specific Tenant, click on the appropriate name in the Organization List.  This will take you to an Information Overview page for your selected Tenant where you can view a Subscription Breakdown for that Tenant:

On this page subscriptions are grouped by application and subscription plan (as created in the Entitlement Definition for the application).  Within a plan, you can view the number of subscriptions that are Assigned and Unassigned, as well as the Total number of subscriptions the Tenant has to that plan.

To locate an individual subscription, you will need to know the application and plan to which it belongs.  You can access a list of Assigned or Unassigned subscriptions for that product and plan by clicking on the number listed in the corresponding column. If you do not know whether a subscription is Unassigned, click on the number listed under the Total Subscriptions column for the appropriate product and plan, which will take you to a listing of all subscriptions for that application and plan. From this page you can view important information such as subscription assignment information, date the subscription was created, and whether or not a subscription is set to auto-renew.  The Status column will tell you whether a subscription is Active (available to subscribed Users), Suspended (unavailable to subscribed Users due to lack of payment) or Cancelled (permanently discontinued).

To view information for an individual subscription, click on the corresponding Subscription Locator in the Subscription Listing table.  This will take you to an overview page for the selected subscription.  From this page you can access relevant invoice and Feature information for the subscription, as well as perform several important functions:

To change the status of the subscription, look to the Subscription Profile box on the lower left side of the page.  The current status will appear to the left in black print.  To change the status of a subscription, click on the appropriate status link to the right of the current status.

To view meters for subscription Features, look to the right of the Subscription Usage box.  Information on subscription usage and thresholds for relevant Block, Boundary and Limiter Features, as well as Availability for Toggle Features, can be found here.

To override a Feature meter, click on the Override This Meter link that corresponds to the meter you wish to override.  This will open an editable field that will allow you to make and save your desired changes.
