Features and Enhancements
The all-new Apprenda Cloud Shell is now available in this release. The Apprenda Cloud Shell permits interaction with a platform instance from the command line. Interations include the ability create, deploy, and scale applications without requiring use of the Developer Portal User Interface. For information about the Shell's commands please see the Apprenda Command Shell.
To support the new Cloud Shell, the Deployment Manifest was enhanced to include the ability to set entitlement definitions and most of the deployment options available had one used the traditional Developer Portal User Interface. For information about specifying these options in the Deployment Manifest, see Configuring an Application with the Deployment Manifest.
Other Minor Enhancements:
-
Added a new Platform Registry Setting (Authentication.DefaultSessionDurationInMinutes) that serves as the platform wide inactive session duration. Note that it is still possible for tenants to specify their own custom duration.
-
Added the ability to retrieve the session duration via the API
