The information in this section covers the following:

• provide you with background on how application deployment works on the Apprenda Platform
• help you select and configure the ideal application services, database model, and user interface deployment model that meet your deployment goals
• walk you through the steps of using the Developer Portal to deploy your application

Please note that while this section contains basic use-case driven information relevant to all types of applications, it does not cover Apprenda's Billing system or information specific to Multitenant or SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) Applications.
